AI in Sustainability

Overview

The “AI in Sustainability” program at IIS integrates cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) techniques with sustainability principles to address global environmental challenges. Designed to equip students with technical, ethical, and entrepreneurial skills, this program prepares participants to become leaders in sustainable innovation, capable of creating impactful AI-driven solutions.

Graduates of the program become entrepreneurs but are also free to work in the industry. They are well-positioned to work in:

Admissions Requirements

  • Eligibility: An applicant must have either a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university, or a degree from another country that is considered equivalent to a four-year bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution, and this foreign degree must be from a recognized degree-granting body in its country of origin.
  • Prerequisites: Demonstrated proficiency in mathematics and basic programming (optional, preparatory courses available).
  • Language Proficiency: TOEFL(iBT) score 79 or IELTS score 6.5 or Duolingo English Test score 105 for non-native English speakers.
